We had a disastrous oil spill in 2016, necessitating demolition, site clearance and rebuild of both our semi-detached house, and our neighbour's. Gareth and his team were professional, friendly and efficient throughout the works. The site was very tight, and the building work had the potential to impact on local business if lorries/diggers/deliveries obstructed access. This was never a problem, and I was delighted with the friendly way both neighbours and customers were handled on every occasion there was even a brief problem. Highly, highly recommended.

My project was the renovation of a stone cottage built around 1900 which I wanted kept in traditional style with the addition of a modern barn on the side. The old cottage was always going to present some challenges due to its age but Gareth and his team dealt with any issues thoroughly in a very professional manner. Gareth understood the importance to me of keeping the integrity of the old building and we were able to expose some of the original stonework and reuse original stone to build a garden wall. Most of all I found Gareth very approachable, easy to work with and trustworthy. Contrary to what I might have expected from builders they stayed consistently on the job, often putting in more hours than expected and kept a very good level of communication throughout. I found the whole project extremely satisfying and I am eager to find another project to work on in the future! I thoroughly recommend Gareth and his team for any kind of building work.

Gareth Roddy undertook a partial refurbishment and small extension on our property in 2014. The scope of the works was, new windows, some support walls removed and support beam fitted, new plumbing and wiring as required and some external groundworks and patio. The work was completed to budget – very important in a refurbishment where unforeseen problems can arise! When we first started the project people told us what a stressful experience it would be but it turned out to be very easy, I am now a firm believer that a good set of builders can do almost anything. As you often said there are no problems only solutions.
You managed to work around us and we only had to move out for a couple of months during the entire build, for a top to bottom renovation that was pretty good.
We were so pleased with the work that we ended up doing even more than we first planned but the results are great and everything is now up to date and the flow of the house is fantastic.
The outside work is amazing and special credit to Uncle Joe for the terrace design.
That is one of the main strengths of your team some are family and the rest work with them as if they were family, a great bunch.

Gareth & his team worked on an extension on our family home from April 2016 to August 2016. The working relationship with Gareth from the outset was very good as he was transparent with information and costs with regards the options we discussed. Our family remained onsite throughout the project and Gareth and the team ensured that that disruption remained to a minimum – we have two young children. The team were always courteous and professional and prepared to give advice and assistance above what would normally be expected.

We commissioned Gareth to carry out a full but sensitive restoration of a former bank to a new use. The work was part funded by Heritage Lottery and accordingly set at a very standard, yet the Heritage inspection at project end found only praise.
